About NoAdware Updates

May 4, 2011

First of what are noadware updates? This refers to updates related to the company, and to the software.

Latest version is NoAdware V5. If you have NoAdware make sure to check for updates frequently, actually best option is to enable automatic updates from settings option.

This will also automatically update the spyware database. We constantly update this database. What is the spyware database you might think right?

This is a huge list, currently over 9000 of different spyware that the software protects against. There are thousands of spyware as you probably know, NoAdware blocks well over 9000 of these and the list is constantly updated.

On the official website of NoAdware, if you go to the research center you’ll see the entire list of spyware and a description of each one.

These are the most important updates that any anti spyware software you download should have. There are new spyware emerging on the Web, and it’s crucial that your anti spyware software can protect against them – that’s why free updates is indispensable.

NoAdware has a tutorial on how to use it, although our customers have reported that it’s the easiest thing they every used. It should be that way, because if it’s so complicated that you will need to read an entire book to learn how to use it — there’s a risk of making wrong settings turned on and so forth, causing more harm then good.

On this blog from time to time I post new stuff about the company and so forth as well. NoAdware does have live chat, it also has trained Computer Professionals which work with customers if ever someone needs support. Recently I myself contacting them because I had a spyware – sometimes anti spyware software can’t remove the spyware, it keeps coming back again and again.

The reason for this is because the anti spyware software can’t automatically remove it, therefore you will need to manually remove it – and the best way to do this is to let someone trained who knows what he’s doing to help you by giving you step by step instructions – that’s the job of our trained computer professionals.

The worst way is to manually try to remove it yourself following some instructions you see online – because you will need to “mess” around in the so called windows registry, in this place a single wrong move can make your system unstable, which in other words means: You computer stops working properly.

So yes, other anti spyware software may have forums, and all that, but it can be more harm than good if you try stuff on your own sometimes.

On my website I have the noadware support entire conversion that took place back and forth via email, so you can actually read it and see how helpful they really are – plus get an idea of the type of instructions they give you (of course in case you need it if anytime).

How I Speed Up My PC

March 10, 2008

Guest article from Mehmet Onatli, pc expert.

A lot of my friends say that I’m possessed with methods on how I can speed up my PC.

Whether I am making some work with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign all of them running at the same time, or whether I am playing Gears of War while World of Warcraft in windowed mode is minimized, all of the time I want my PC to work as fast as it can. Yes, I’m a speed freak. I easily get frustrated with the slightest breath of a load time.

Therefore, I all of the time watch out for ways to make my computer faster.

Here are 5 techniques that I use to speed up my PC and to assure that it will run forever at it best performance with some small hiccups.

Technique No. 1: Download The Latest Drivers

Software you run in your computers always change. The programs sold today will not be as good to compare with the programs that will come out next week.

The first thing I do is to download the latest drivers for the Graphic card, motherboard, modem… you name it, I download it! I make certain that only the latest drivers are installed in my system.

The Second Technique: Keep Your Windows Registry Clean

Does it take ages to boot up your system? Probabilities are, your registry is mired by worthless remaining files from the programs you’ve installed, even if you have already uninstalled them.

When I want speed up my PC, I scan my system with my favorite registry cleaner for some unneeded, and sometimes bad, remaining files. You can find a very good and cheap registry cleaner online easy. And then I allow it do its job, deleting the unessential files whenever it could.

Technique No. 3: Infected By Spyware And/Or Adware maybe?

Sometimes the cause of slow boot up time can be caused by spyware and/or adware in your system. Spyware and adware are forms of malware that sneakily discover their way into your PC, oftentimes through and through the sites you visit or the email attachments you open.

Whenever I’m infected by spyware and/or adware, I open my trusted spyware remover.

Technique No. 4: Scan For Viruses And Kill Them

Viruses may also be the cause to a slow PC, the most popular of which are Trojans.
There is only one way to determine the existence of a virus in your system, that is, by running a complete diagnostic scan using an anti-virus software.

Technique No. 5: Defragment Regularly

One of the really under-appreciated features of a Windows-based PC is the Disk Defragmenter. Essentially, the Disk Defragmenter will get rid of un-needed and excess files in your full system, not only your registry.

I swear to God, defragmenting your disk is THE best way to speed up my PC. Defragmenting could take a few hours or more, but at the end it is worth it
To access the Disk Defragmenter, go to START, then ALL PROGRAMS, then ACCESSORIES, then SYSTEM TOOLS, and voila!

Fake software list

November 1, 2007

There are many spyware removal tools but most often users end up uninstalling them cause they are BAD.

Worst thing that can happen and does happen is the users download FAKE security software. That is why on the NoAdware blog a list of FAKE software was added so you can learn what not to install – not even to download – if you are researching for a security software.

They are also called ROGUE anti spyware/adware software. They do the opposite of what they claim – i.e instead of helping they destroy your computer. 😦

Anyways, make sure you check NoAdware blog post using the search function to find the big list of FAKE software.

Internet Security Protection

November 1, 2007

NoAdware software is constantly updated. If you already have a copy and you should by the way enable automatic updates and you see that there are new updates almost everyday… So everyday software database is updated to protect against ALL LATEST THREATS.

The program itself is already super easy to use so it is not udpated regularly – only if new features need to be added to make it better will there be a program update. NoAdware does not only delete spyware. The database updates are critical and every security software like NoAdware should update those regularly otherwise the user is not protected against latest threats.

That’s one of the benefits of NoAdware too.

Protection is better than Cure!

December 25, 2006

Make sure you stay proected all year round agains these bad objects. But anyway you should make sure you have a spyware cleaner during this month of December. Most of us use the Internet mostly on this month to buy gifts and so on. There is nothing wrong but the more websites you visit the more you should make sure you are protected.

One more thing I get asked frequently is:

Well I just bought a new computer so basically I don’t need any virus software.

That is completely wrong, cause the Internet is something different from your PC. Whether it is old, new or anything else if you are connected to the Internet you can become infected with adware and spyware.

To remove adware and spyware I suggest using noadware software. The one I been using for more than 6 months … as well as avast.com free anti virus software.

Greetings!

Adware spyware remover is the subject I am researching so far. The discussion is wether to use a free software or a cheap/expensive software.

I tend to prefer more the cheap software against the free ones. Well, anything that is free is probably less good than something that you have to pay for. That is my motto.

So amongst all of the anti spyware program to remove adware, I prefer the low cost ones.
Two! 1) An anti spyware adware and 2) An anti virus software

That should be a good choice to protect my PC. I also hyperlinked the favorite software, which I been using for six months now. The other is McAfee which is also a low cost software.

Windows XP users can always make use of the Microsoft Updates, which are very good to keep PC (windows) updated. I also switch on the Firewall from the Control Panel … and turn auto updates on.

Updated the Browser (IE, Mozilla etc) is also important, for security and stablity…
Not to mention updating the two software, McAfee and No Adware.
